What is the CRA’s position on Health Spending Accounts (HSA)?

A Health Spending Account (HSA) is also known as a Private Health Services Plan (PHSP). These plans were approved by CRA in 1988 as a way to allow businesses to provide tax free health and dental expenses for employees. All of the benefits we cover align with the list of eligible expenses from CRA.  See for yourself.
